Please join us for a free virtual meeting on Tuesday, October 20 from 6:00-7:30 to hear local women business leaders talk about how the past six months have required them to be flexible and to be bold, while also being brave enough to ask for help in new ways. Learn how to discover different methods to cope with the unexpected -

Our speakers will include:

  • Michelle Baron, Dress for Success Buffalo, “Changing Lives One Suit at a Time”. Michelle is an experienced management professional with a diverse combination of work experience in the private and public sectors including: economic development, planning, management and public administration. She has 15 years of solid project, administrative and organization skills and non-profit leadership.  In addition to her work with Dress for Success Buffalo, Michelle is the Founder of Women In the Spotlight Goinglobal (WITSGG), a digital networking empowerment community on Facebook.

She is a mother of two children who attend Buffalo Public Schools. In her spare time she gardens and trains to fight with swords.
  • Jillian Sickler, The Sugar Palette, who teamed up with other local business this past summer to donate their products, gift cards or monetary donations to WNY families in need.  Jillian started her business about 1 year ago, at the age of 23, and it's been growing ever since. Her business mission is “to make a difference in as many lives as possible no matter how small” and will be discussing how she is adapting to “the new normal”, what she does to better our community, and her experience in the last year being a young woman doing business.
